Wordful Wednesday: Crying Eyes

My children are very routine children, they crave routine. We have a very strict bedtime routine along with a routine throughout our day. When Joshua isn't on routine it is not a fun experience for anyone involved. This last weekend we went to a Winter Retreat for our youth group and both boys had to attend, due to the fact all our family was there helping out. Of course we were WAY off routine and had a MUCH later bedtime than normal, but they also had to get up much earlier. So Joshua ended up having several crying fits. Of course the mean Mom that I am I have to get pictures of the crying eyes. Doesn't he just look absolutely pitiful????

I think he is adorable! Crying or not! Routines were a blessing when Kaish was younger! Now that he is in school we don't have to be so rigid as he is in routines all day long : ).

Oh, I've only recently tried to establish some routines and I can't believe how it has changed our lives.

Beautiful picture!

Aw! Not a bad mom at all ~ I take picture of her crying too {sometimes I can't help but laugh later}. That picture is sweet.

He's sweet and you'll be so glad you captured that years and years from now!

What a cute little crier. I would have grabbed my camera too :) I have been known to make my children suffer while the camera documents the moment.

We are routine freaks too. :)

He is sooo cute!! I have a routine with my boys, even though they are in school, well the 2 older ones are in school and so is my preschooler. I think having a routine is very important! poor little sad boy!!

poor kid - my kids are the same way - they will even ask to go to be if we get caught up and it is past their bedtime!

Ah yes - LOVE our routines, don't we?? We are VERY routine when the kids are babies and have really slacked in that department, but I certainly remember the break downs when we strayed! Hang in there. And as I always tell people - NEVER EVER underestimate the power of sleep when it comes to little people. :-)

Aww! Very pitiful. But a cutie too. It's so hard on kids to get out of routine. Trust me, I know!

He does look absolutely pitiful! Too precious! I understand routines. Even my 11 yr old gets out of sorts when the routine gets messed up. He likes to know what is going to happen when!
