Aloha Friday

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you would like to play visit Kailani

My question is:

If you could change just one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I would want to be less annoyed by the noises of the world. I can't stand listening to people eat, nail clipping, computer typing, mouse clicking, teeth brushing, tooth flossing, and the worst of them all - gum snapping. I'm weird! But these repetitive noises have always made me bonkers! I don't know how I've survived this long. :-) Fortunately it doesn't bother me when I'M the one making the noise. I would LOVE to be able to be oblivious to it all.

I'd love to be more patient. I feel like I'm always in a hurry getting from one place to the next because I always have something next on my list to accomplish.

is it weird that i wouldn't change a thing at all? not that i am perfect, far from it in fact. but, i am just now learning to embrace this me rather than trying to create a new one. i want to be a better me, no doubt, but i want to be me.

I would love to be less of a worrier. I worry about EVERYTHING even when I know that I should give it to God. It is just something I have been struggling with... but that is definitely what I would change.

I feel the same why as Rachael...not perfect here but I've learned to accept myself the way I am.

I'm a 50's something Diva Mama - ha! I have a bachelors degree in Social Work. I wished I would have gone back to school part time when my kids were little to get my Masters, because the only way to get a well paying job in Social Work is with your Masters. Ah, Why don't I still go back to school part time you ask?? Well, I found the game of golf and became obsessed - ha! I have a website boutique and the Blog and much time for too many other things at this point - I like to volunteer for at least 2 things in the community at all times and I am now able to travel with Hubby when he goes on business trips and it has been a blast!!!

I would want more patience. I get irritated too easily.

My weight. I really feel like if I get that under control I'll have developed the patience & ability to relax that I need. I know. I need to work on all three. Maybe that's why the weight doesn't come off?

I wish that I could manage my time better. I stink at it. I flit from thing to thing and I'm just not organized and efficient.

I wish I would not be such an emotional eater. When I'm stressed or worried...I eat. I wish I could find a better outlet that wouldn't cause me to eat or just try not to stress so much!

I would love to be more organized and task oriented! I know I must have adult ADD ~ I always have at least 3 or 4 projects going at once! There's an email joke that went around again not long ago ~ it was very funny ~ about a wife/mom at the beginiing of the day and going all over her house doing things and by the end of the day the things she started were still right where she left them - not completed! That's me and I hate it!

I wish I could be more patient with my girls. I'm sure they would love it, too. :-)
